The Radisson Blu Madrid is fabulous for the money. Situated across the street from the Prado Museum it is also close to great restaurants and bars. The spa and pool are immaculate and the architecture blends right in with this classic yet trendy neighbourhood. The staff was lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable with balconies that overlook the busy streets below. For the money you can't get a better deal- close to train station (walking distance) and easy access to the metro and bus lines.

A wonderful small grotto like pool in the basement spa has unique relaxing design. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The location just across from the Prado is very good!

The hotel is lovely with excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. The location is perfect for museum visits. The room could use some heating improvements as it got chilly at night for an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Location is perfect, the rooms facing the square are really nice, typical madrid building with nice balconies
Some of their rooms have blacked out windows that cannot be opened, so basically you are staying in a windowless room, they should be ashamed actually selling those rooms to people, never seen anything like it. When i complained about it i was first told "well thats the way the hotel is build, you cannot view through/open the windows for security reasons as it faces the inside". Was changed to another room later on which was really good, with nice balcony/view on square. So make sure to confirm they,ll give you a room that actually has windows you can look through and open or dont bother ging there.

The staff couldn't have been friendlier and informative. The hotel is situated across the street from the Prado museum and close to the On and Off tour bus. The location is excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean. There is a pool and sauna that was usefull in the evening when we got back tired from touring.
Absolutely no complaints

If you are in Madrid to see the museums and enjoy city night life this hotel is for you. Each of 3 major museums: Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza is within 5 minutes from the hotel. It is also a 7 minutes walk to Santa Ana square. This is a huge advantage when you can stop in your hotel room couple of times a day and relax. We stayed for 4 nights in Radisson Blu and realized that it was the best choice. We considered staying at a five star Selenza hotel in Salamanca for approximately same money, but decided not to, which turned out a right decision. Salamanca is posh and extremely pleasant area, but pretty boring.
